The benefits of yoga can be acquired from an early age beginning with a kids yoga class. Concentration and energy levels will improve, weak immune systems will recharge and flexibility will be maintained. Additionally yoga can benefit creativity and self expression, self-confidence and help promote healthy sleeping patterns. Stories are used to interlink postures allowing children to hone their listening skills, imagination as well as the beginnings of awareness of breath. Classes are small, allowing for plenty of individual attention from the teacher.

As children continue to grow, a regular yoga practice helps the body to remain supple. A supple, flexible body also encourages an open, flexible mind. Through the asanas, children become more in tune with their bodies and how to move with mindfulness. Addressing their own self with compassion, allows them to address others in the same manner.

These classes are presented in a course format for a progressive building of postures to be most beneficial. Starting out with simple sun salutations, the course will introduce postures along the way through stories to keep the interest for the children.

Classes are in small groups of no more than 8, allowing for plenty of individual attention from the teacher.
