• All classes must be booked online.• The online system will only allow you to book if you have credit so if you are new to the Shala or have run out of credit, please email us and we will make the booking for you.

antenatal yoga (14 weeks to 40+ weeks)

Bringing life into life through your own is the greatest miracle of all. Each mother deserves to be nurtured and cherished during her pregnancy and it is her birth-right to labour and birth in dignity the way her body tells her to. The classes provide a warm and supportive environment to guide you safely through every stage of pregnancy, preparing you for labour and birth. The classes aim to equip you with the knowledge necessary to address common pregnancy ailments and potential physical, mental or emotional obstacles that may hinder a straightforward birth to give you the confidence and strength to BIRTH YOUR WAY.
During the course you will have several workshop type yoga classes (birthing breathing; dealing with fear; comfort measures for labour; pelvic mapping; meet the midwive:q&a). You also receive handouts as we go through the course. You can join at any time during the course given that places are available.

Note: If you are in employment, you are legally entitled to get paid time

When do I Start & Other Information
You can start when you are 14 weeks pregnant and you can continue right
up until birth. Classes are available in blocks of 4 (£45, valid
for 5 weeks) and blocks of 8 (£85, valid for 10 weeks). Please email
us to book a space, stating how many weeks pregnant you are. If you
have any specific queries that need addressing, please come to the class

post-natal/WELL-WOMEN yoga

Postnatal / Well Woman Yoga Classes are suitable for all women who have given birth. The focus of this course is womens health. The course caters for individual needs related to reproductive health - between or after pregnancies. Together we explore how yoga can enhance your gynaecological health, improve your physical and mental well-being in so that you can enjoy motherhood to the full.

- Helps you to recover more rapidly on all levels (physical / mental / emotional).

Private tuition can be arranged at your home or at the centre. These may be arranged for individuals or groups of up to four students.Classes: £50/hour at the centre (£60 for 3–4 students); £75/hour at your home
