practicalities
booking information
• All classes should be booked via our "schedule & booking page". You will receive an automated email confirming your reservation.
• If you decide to drop in to a class, please be aware numbers in our classes are very limited so we may not have space. You will be charged at the higher single/drop-in rate.
• New students can sign in for one class and select our "free introductory class" offer (see orange panel right for more information).
• Existing students who have run out of credit can now book one unpaid class online by selecting the option "Payment on arrival". The system will only allow you to use this option to reserve one class at a time. If this option isn't available to you then please email us your booking - there could be a negative balance on your account that needs resolving.
• If you have any problem using the online booking system, please email us your booking and we will resolve any issues on your account and reserve the class for you.
• When you are logged in to our system you will be able to track your schedule,
history, purchases and account.
• We have a waiting list for up to two people per class.
If a class is full, click sign up and you can be added to the
waiting list. An email will be sent out to you if a space comes free.
If you are then unable to attend, email or call us and we will cancel your booking (our 24 hour cancellation policy doesn't apply for those added from the wait list).
payment
• Credit can be purchased at the centre when you visit or you can email us for bank details to make an online transfer and we will credit your account.
• Payment at the centre is by cash or cheque only - we currently do not accept cards.
• Please be advised that your account will be debited for no-shows (if you have no credit, the account will go in to negative).
cancellation policy
• All classes should be cancelled via our "schedule & booking page". To cancel a class, log in, select "classes" from the top right. Click on the green "Registered" which will take you through to your schedule where you have the option to cancel on the right hand side. You will receive an automated email to confirm your cancellation.
• If you cancel more than 24 hours before the start of the class you will not be charged for the class.
• Late cancellations will be automatically charged to your account without exception (if you have no credit, the account will go in to negative). We used to make exceptions due to illness, weather, family or other valid reasons but we are no longer able to do so due to being inundated with requests and the administration becoming impossible to manage.
• PLEASE DO NOT PHONE OR EMAIL THE SHALA TO CANCEL CLASSES. If you booked the class through us by email then you can still cancel it yourself online.
• If you have missed the 24 hour cancellation deadline we would appreciate it if you could still cancel any classes you are not able to attend.
• All course payments are non refundable and non transferable.
• We reserve the right to cancel classes. In the rare event that a class is cancelled you will be notified by email. If there is less than 12 hours notice and your phone number is listed on our database we will call you.
